A novel approach to oligocyclopropane structural units.

[摘要] A fundamentally novel approach to the synthesis of oligocyclopropane structural units based on the iterative formation and trapping of home-allyl cationic intermediates has been accomplished. This methodology provides practical access to the diastereomically related trans-syn-trans and trans-anti-trans bis-cyclopropanes and higher homologues. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
