[摘要] Syn-alpha, beta-dialkoxy-acyldimethylphenylsilanes of structural type 1, benzyl, benzyloxymethyl (BOM) ether protecting groups can be efficiently and selectively desilated to produce the corresponding aldehydes 2 by catalytic hydrogenolysis over 10% palladium on carbon in ethanol or ethyl acetate.
