[摘要] The “Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada” (IMPA)is a research centre for mathematics situated in Rio deJaneiro, Brazil. It was created 65 years ago with the mission of pursuing high-level research in pure and appliedmathematics, training new researchers and disseminatingmathematics at all levels. IMPA has been pivotal in thedevelopment of mathematics in Latin America, particularly through the training of leading professionals working in the region.
