Performance and Evaluation of CompandingTransform for PAPR Reduction in OFDMunder Nonlinear Distortions

[摘要] In this paper we mainly focused on BER and peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction in OFDM by using Nonlinear Companding transform (NCT).Among various companding techniques NCT is an attractive solution to reduce the PAPR of OFDM signal .The proposed algorithm offers an improved BER and minimize out-ofband distortions while reducing PAPR effectively under the AWGN, Rician multipath fading and ETU channels. Theoretical analysis and computer simulations are presented.
