Cholera, Iron and Mental Illness in Nineteenth-Century Saint John, NB

[摘要] Saint John has a very high rate of Sz in its mainly Irish population. In this paper I examine the possible cause of iron from cast iron piping along with iron in the diet that lead to a weakened immune system and consequent contagious disease such as Cholera. Cholera may do damage to the DNA of fertile women who pass it on to their offspring.
