Thoracic Multifidus Plane Block for Posterior Thoracic Spine Surgery

[摘要] Thoracolumbar interfascial plane block (TLIP) targets thedorsal rami of the spinal nerves as it emerges posteriorlybetween the multifidus and longissimus muscles. It wasdescribed as providing analgesia for posterior lumbar spinesurgeries. This principle of blocking the dorsal rami as theytraverse through the paraspinal muscles can be applied at thethoracic level also. Here, we describe our experience witha thoracic multifidus interfascial plane block in a posteriorthoracic spine surgery.
