Chitosan-modified mineral trioxide aggregate for pulp capping applications

[摘要] We read with interest the recent article titled “Histologicalevaluation of the synergistic effect of chitosan and mineraltrioxide aggregate (MTA) on mechanically exposed dentalpulp following pulp capping in dogs’ teeth” by Emara et al.published in your esteemed journal.[1] The study highlightedthe histological appearance of dentin bridge formationfollowing direct pulp capping using chitosan‑incorporatedMTA in a dog model. The authors’ efforts are highlycommendable; however, we would like to put forth ourobservations pertaining to this interesting study.
