A simple one-pot synthesis of 2,4-diaryl- 9H-pyrido[2,3-b]indoles under solvent-free conditions

[摘要] A novel, simple, one-pot synthesis of 2,4-diaryl-9 H -pyrido[2,3- b ]indoles is described. Heating a mixture of chalcone, oxindole and ammonium acetate in the presence of potassium tert -butoxide under solvent-free conditions afforded the title compounds in good to excellent yields.
