Patient-Centered Oncology or Population-Centered Oncology—Which Do We Want, and Which Tradeoffs Are We Willing To Accept?
[摘要] Although the principles of both patient-centered health care goals and population-centered health care goals are thoughtful and well-meaning, they are frequently in conflict. This commentary discusses these conflicts with examples specific to the oncology clinic, with a focus on the question of how society wants medicine to be practiced and the resulting trade-offs that answer will require.
