Kevin Mitchell

[摘要] Professor Kevin Mitchell has a few pet peeves with the way neuroscience is represented in the media. To start, he highlights the siren call of fMRI scans that often adorn any remotely psychological article: ‘People demonstrably find that same article more convincing if it has a glowing brain in one corner of it than if it doesn’t. So people are a bit susceptible, I think, to what we affectionately term “neuro-bollocks”’.
