Letter to the editor concerning “Providence nighttime bracing is effective in treatment for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis even in curves larger than 35°” by Simony A, Beuschau I, Quisth L, et al. (Eur Spine J; [2019]: doi:10.1007/s00586-019-06077-z)

[摘要] Congratulations to the authors for their results. It would appear from the results that nighttime bracing is a possible option for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis cases with larger curves. However, some issues of this paper need further discussion/clarifcation and, in my opinion, bring into question their conclusion that the “Providence nighttime braces are an efective treatment for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis patients.”.
