[摘要] I recently read the article by Degulmadi D, et al. entitled “Age- and sex-related changes in facet orientation and tropism in lower lumbar spine: an MRI study of 600 patients” [1]. The study attempts to analyze the association of facet angles and tropism of the lower lumbar spine with gender and age. The large sample size is one of the strengths of the study. However, it will be appropriate to mention the drawbacks and shortcomings.
