The surgical treatment of acromioclavicular joint injuries

[摘要] Acromioclavicular (AC) injuries are common, with an unknown real incidence because a relevant percentage of affected patients do not seek medical treatment. A significantly increased risk of developing these types of lesions has been demonstrated1,2 in athletes participating in contact sports (e.g. horse-riding, soccer, rugby, hockey, and martial arts).
