Public Health Professionals and Nurses in Indonesia: Are We Partners?

[摘要] The context of environment and otherindividuals has been a focus of publichealth and nurse’s profession. Promotingthe health, preventing disease, andprolonging life are the roles of theseprofessions. However, there has been roleconfusion between public healthprofessionals and nurses in Indonesia,which may lead to uneasy cooperation andcomplex interaction. In addition, it has alsobeen a phenomenon in education that manyDiploma nurses continue their education inPublic Health Institution, which mayimpact to the threat of losing professionalidentity and status of public health.
