MASS GATHERINGS: PUBLIC HEALTH IMPLICATIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

[摘要] Mass gatherings (MG) are public events oflimited duration, planned in advance andattended by more than 25000 people.1According to World Health Organization(WHO), mass gathering, in the context ofpublic health, is “any occasion, eitherorganized or spontaneous, that attractssufficient number of people to strain theplanning and response resources of thecommunity, city or nation hosting theevent”.
