Editor-in-chief’s message

[摘要] It gives me great pleasure to place Vol 10 issue (1)of RJPS in front of our esteemed readers.The year 2020 appears to have come withgreat challenges to the world. It began with theCOVID-19 pandemic and a variety of disturbingfacts about the heinous Delhi riots, Telanganariots (Bhainsa), Bengaluru riots and other forms ofprotests from prestigious universities for unrelatedissues to students/academics, and other sporadicviolence witnessed here and there. Let us hope thatour great nation will come out of all the problemsquickly and bounce back owing to its vast historicalexperience. Even though the above issues appear tobe political, still I am compelled to mention about itin the editorial of RJPS which is a scientific journalas they do affect the scientific community too in oneor the other way. Because scientists are also partand parcel of the system and live in the same worldbesides, cold and heat affect them too. Even thoughthey try to remain aloof from all this political milieu,they are also affected akin to a forest fire affectingthe nearby houses.
