Study of characteristics of PWM signals in electromagnetic vibration drive control systems
[摘要] The paper studies three forms of the pulse-width modulated (PWM) signal which is used to power the electromagnetic vibration drives of resonance-type vibrating machines. On the basis of a comparative analysis of the characteristics of PWM signals using the root mean square deviation for the time domain, the nonlinear harmonics (distortions) coefficient for the spectral domain, and the structure of the power part of the switches that form these signals, conclusions have been drawn on the feasibility of using different types of PWM in the control systems of electromagnetic vibratory drives.
