Commentary: The sublobar resections and the difference between a conjecture and a theorem
[摘要] The study from Holguin and colleagues,1 employing the National Cancer Database (a registry maintained by the American Cancer Society and the American College of Surgeons), assessed the survival results after lobectomies and sublobar resections with regional lymph node sampling in non–small cell carcinoma (NSCLC) in situ and/or <1 cm. Authors found that sublobar resection may provide adequate survival outcomes while avoiding the additional morbidity of lobectomy; survival was also not affected by regional lymph node sampling.
