Postcardiac surgery myocardial ischemia: Why, when, and how to intervene
[摘要] Feature Editor's Introduction—The diagnosis of postoperative myocardial ischemia in the context of cardiac surgery remains challenging, and its management is a topic of ongoing debate. The electrocardiographic changes after cardiac surgery are common and difficult to interpret, whereas the troponin levels are expectedly elevated. Because patients are rarely capable of reporting the classic ischemic symptoms in the early period after cardiac surgery, it is difficult for clinicians in the intensive care units to discern between trivial and benign changes from clinically important myocardial ischemia, which is reversible with appropriate intervention.
