Flexural strength of post-tensioned concrete-filled fiber-reinforced-polymer rectangular tube beams

[摘要] The long-term durability of reinforced and prestressedconcrete structures has become a major concern inthe construction industry. Many bridges in Canadaand the United States are approaching the end of their designlife, and some bridges are showing major signs of structuraldamage, such as severe corrosion of steel bars and largecracks, due to their high level of exposure to environmentalfactors. In 2021, the American Society of Civil Engineers1reported that more than 42% of the bridges currently in usein Canada and the United States were built more than 50years ago and a significant number of these structures needstrengthening, rehabilitation, or replacement.
