Letter to the Editor concerning “The influence of spinal position on imaging findings: an observational study of thoracolumbar spine upright MRI in elite gymnasts” by Fawcett L, et al. (Eur Spine J [2022]; 31(2):225–232)

[摘要] We read with great interest the recent study by Fawcettet al. [1], “The infuence of spinal position on imaging fndings: an observational study of thoracolumbar spine uprightMRI in elite gymnasts”. We appreciate the author’s efortsto highlight the efects of repetitive stress movements of theback, even in the young population and new advancementsin MRI to diagnose these. However, we wish to put our fewqueries and want to know the author’s input so that messagefrom this study is presented with greater clarity.
