Severe thrombocytopenia in a patient with otherwise asymptomatic COVID-19
[摘要] A 35-year-old woman with a medical history significant only for recently diagnosed essential hypertension presented to an urgent-care facility with easy bruising, petechiae, and gingival bleeding. She said that she had noticed large ecchymoses from minimal trauma on her upper and lower extremities for the past week, as well as a petechial rash. A complete blood cell count at that time revealed a platelet count of 3.0 × 109/L (reference range 150–400 × 109/L), and she was told to go to the nearest emergency department.
