Teriparatide: Label changes and identifying patients for long-term use

[摘要] The osteoporosis agent teriparatide (Forteo) no longer carries a boxed warning about the risk of osteosarcoma, and dosing is no longer limited to 24 months of lifetime use. These labelling changes have left clinicians with the challenge of identifying patients for consideration of long-term treatment.
