An 86-year-old man with unexplained right-sided headache and vision loss

[摘要] An 86-year-old man presented to a local hospital ophthalmologist with headache and pain in his right temple without vision loss. Laboratory values for complete blood cell count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and C-reactive protein (CRP) were normal. The medical history was remarkable only for a remote history of diverticulitis. He reported social consumption of alcohol and smoking in the past.
