Common oncologic emergencies

[摘要] Family physicians must be able to recognize anyoncologic emergencies that patients present within their offices, on hospital wards, or in emergencydepartments (Box 1).1 This article reviews the presentation and management of 3 common oncologic emergencies: malignant spinal cord compression (SCC), superiorvena cava obstruction (SVCO), and febrile neutropenia.
