Understanding the Protective Role of IL-6 Receptor in Coronary Heart Disease

[摘要] Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. It is a complex disease influenced by both geneticand environmental factors. Inflammation is one of the key processes involved in the development and progression of CHD. Interleukin-6(IL-6) is a cytokine involved in the regulation of inflammation, and it has been suggested that IL-6 and its receptor may play a role in thedevelopment of CHD. This study provides an overview of the IL-6 receptor and its potential role in the prevention of CHD.
