Effective Strategies for Treating Acute Pain in Neonates

[摘要] Acute pain management in the neonate is a critical aspect of neonatal care. Painful experiences in infancy can have long-term implications,including altered pain sensitivity and emotional regulation. Effective pain management in the neonatal period can reduce the likelihood ofadverse outcomes, improve short- and long-term outcomes, and enhance the overall quality of care provided to neonates. This studyprovides an overview of acute pain management in the neonate, including the physiology of pain, assessment tools, pharmacological andnon-pharmacological interventions, and challenges associated with pain management in this population.
