IFEA 12 th World Endodontic Congress 2020ne: An update

[摘要] It is not the strongest of species that survives, nor the most intelligent but the one most responsive to change – Charles Darwin. Humanity is currently facing one of its greatest challenges in the past century, and life has come to standstill in many aspects. Due to travel restrictions and social-distancing norms that have become mandatory due to the COVID pandemic, the organizing team of the 12th IFEA World Endodontic Congress has rescheduled the 12th IFEA WEC to be held in two phases: Phase 1 will be conducted as an Online IFEA World Endodontic Congress from September 23–26, 2020. Phase I encompasses a panel of 25 speakers who are well-known experts in our field. Lecture topics covering endodontic research, clinical techniques, and recent advances will be delivered by eminent speakers as online webinars along with 15 clinical demonstrations. Phase 2 will be conducted as an Onsite IFEA World Endodontic Congress from August 12–14, 2021, at Chennai, India. The 12th IFEA WEC 2020 would provide a valuable platform to exchange the results of the latest basic and clinical research works on endodontic dentistry as well as to evolve communications and collaborations with colleagues from all over the world. The current prevailing situation has forced everyone to make learning an online process. The organizing team has made an excellent decision on delivering the lectures through an online congress portal, enabling participants to have a virtual experience of a live conference. The congress would enable the delegates an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from various countries and also visit more than twenty virtual trade booths. Hope is the basis of success in any endeavor, and we sincerely hope that the current tough times settles down and we will be able to meet every one in person in August 2021 during the onsite IFEA 12th WEC at Chennai, the lively metropolis will be your host city during the second part of the 12th IFEA onsite WEC as you soak in a harmonious blend of its rich cultural and architectural legacy along with its vibrant present.
