[摘要] We have read with great interest the latestwork done by Beverly B. Green et al.1 This study foundhealth care professional knowledge, beliefs, and practicesgaps in diagnosing hypertension. These gaps could leadto clinical care that is not aligned with guidelines. BothAmerican and European scientific societies recommendout-of-office blood pressure (BP) measurement beforemaking a new hypertension diagnosis and initiating treatment, using 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring(ABPM) or home BP monitoring. However, this approach isnot common.
