Use of the Digital Mobile Radio Technology Standard for Emergency Public Information Provision through Electronic Warning Endpoints

[摘要] This paper describes experiments and results of evaluation of the intelligibility ofverbal information within the population protection. Direct remote announcements towarning endpoints would mean a substantial improvement in the quality of the unifiedpublic warning and notification system of the Czech Republic. Through announcementsit would be possible to provide up-to-date information about impending dangers andoperational instructions that would improve measures to protect lives, health and assetsof the population in the Czech Republic.
