First record of Onychocerus albitarsis Pascoe, 1859 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lamiinae: Anisocerini) from Paraguay

[摘要] Onychocerus albitarsis (Fig. 1) is a famous SouthAmerica species of Cerambycidae because it is the onlyknown species of Coleoptera that can inject chemicals.This is the only known beetle that has antennae modifiedwith stingers. This species has been collected in Brasil(Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Goias, Ceara, Espirito Santo,Maranhâo, Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo), Bolivia(Santa Cruz) and southern Peru. Recently we receivedsome beetles from Paraguay. One specimen was a maleof Onychocerus albitarsis. Locality data, which are a newcountry record for this species, are: Paraguay, Concepcion,Garay Cue, 25-27.I.2016, Ulf Dreschel.
