MBRRACE 2021: preventing maternal deaths — we are all part of the solution

The 2021 report covers surveillance data on the deaths of women, during pregnancy or up to 1 year after pregnancy, between 2017 and 2019.1 This confidential enquiry covers the topics of morbidity of older mothers, mental health and multiple adversity, malignancy, and venous thromboembolism.
