Gastric electrical stimulation: Overview and summary

[摘要] Gastric electrical stimulation (GES) is abioelectric therapy[1] first used in humansover 30 years ago.[2] Since its inception,GES, as currently performed, has been usedin over 10,000 patients worldwide. Thisreview provides a brief history, methods,indications, mechanisms of action, clinicdata, future developments and possible newapplications.
