Adnexal Masses: Evaluation And Comparison Of All The Risk Of Malignancy Indices.

[摘要] To compare the diagnostic utility of all four Risk of Malignancy Indices (RMI) in the evaluation of adnexalmasses. A prospective cohort study done on 100 patients presenting with adnexal masses in a tertiary carehospital in Chennai. Risk of malignancy is a useful tool in pre-operative diagnosis of malignant ovarianneoplasms, out of which RMI 4 has the strongest correlation due to inclusion of tumour size as an indicator ofmalignancy.
