Brown-Séquard syndrome: An uncommonpresentation of hydatid cyst
[摘要] Primary spinal hydatid cyst account for 1% ofall cases of hydatid disease.1 Usual site is atthoracic level (52 %), followed by lumbar (37%), and then cervical and sacral levels.1 In Indianliterature, few cases are reported.2-5 We report acase of 27-year-old immunocompetent Indianmale patient, with chief complaints of rapidlyprogressive asymmetric spastic paraparesis (powerright 3/5, left 0/5 lower limb) with loss of painand temperature in the right lower limb but intactposition and vibration sense, a Brown-Séquard syndrome like presentation.
