Spontaneous coronary artery dissection: An often unrecognized cause of acute coronary syndrome

[摘要] Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD), an intramural hemorrhage leading to a separation of the layersof the coronary artery wall, is traditionally considered arare condition associated mainly with pregnancy but islikely underdiagnosed in other settings. Its recognitionby coronary angiography is key. Medical managementis usually indicated, except in certain circumstances inwhich coronary artery bypass grafting or percutaneouscoronary intervention should be considered.
