Infertility: A practical framework

[摘要] Fertility concerns are common in men and women ofreproductive age, and primary care physicians are oftenthe fi rst line in addressing, assessing, and referring thesepatients. This article reviews the answers to questionspatients often ask, and outlines a practical framework forthe evaluation and management of the infertile couple.Up-to-date information is provided on available assistedreproductive technologies for the infertile couple, aswell as preserving fertility in the setting of aging-relatedchanges in the female reproductive system.
