[摘要] Systemic sclerosis, an autoimmune disease characterized by fi brosis of the skin and various internal organs, isassociated with cardiovascular abnormalities includingpulmonary hypertension, atherosclerosis, right and leftventricular dysfunction, arrhythmias, conduction defects,pericardial disease, and valvular heart disease. Clinicianscaring for patients with this disease should regularlyscreen for cardiac symptoms, and patients with abnormalfi ndings should be managed in conjunction with a cardiologist to optimally modify cardiovascular risks.
