Laboratory tests in rheumatology: A rational approach

[摘要] Laboratory tests are useful in diagnosing rheumaticdiseases, but clinicians should be aware of the limitationsof these tests. This article uses case vignettes to providepractical and evidence-based guidance on requesting andinterpreting selected tests, including rheumatoid factor,anticitrullinated peptide antibody, antinuclear antibody,antiphospholipid antibodies, antineutrophil cytoplasmicantibody, and human leukocyte antigen-B27.
