Primary malignant pericardial mesothelioma presenting as constrictive pericarditis with an atypical imaging appearance: a case description

[摘要] Primary malignant pericardial mesothelioma (PMPM) isa rare malignant tumor with a poor prognosis. Its atypicalclinical symptoms and imaging characteristics lead tomisdiagnoses and inconclusive diagnoses, and its finaldiagnosis mainly relies on pericardial histopathology,postoperative pathology, or even autopsy results (1-3). Inthis article, we report the case of a 50-year-old woman withPMPM that atypically presented as constrictive pericarditisto raise awareness of this easily neglected malignantpericardial tumor.
