Revisiting EXTREME in the Immuno-Oncology Era: How to Improve Its Outcomes

[摘要] The choice of first-line palliative treatment has always been one of the crucial decisions in the management of patients with recurrent and/or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck not suitable for salvage surgery or full-dose radiotherapy. This commentary highlights trial results that show the importance of treatment sequencing decisions that should be of interest for daily practice.
