The Role of the Pathologist beyond the Microscope

We encounter patients on twooccasions.The first and the more common encounter isperforming fine needle aspirations on apatient. However, introduction of guidedFNAC has resulted in lesser numbers ofaspirations being performed by pathologiststaking away this rare opportunity of patientcontact.
