[摘要] A 42-year-old woman presented with heavymenstrual bleeding and chronic pelvic pain forthree months duration. She had been treatedwith norethisterone. As she did not responseto the medical treatment she underwenthysterectomy, bilateral salpingectomy andright oophorectomy.MacroscopyWe received a uterus with cervix measuring90x60x40 mm. The endometrium wasirregular and polypoidal in appearance. Theendometrial thickness ranged from 3 to 10mm. The myometrial thickness was 30 mmand showed multiple fibroids. Grossappearance of both tubes and the right ovarywas normal.
