Dual pathology: Everolimus-induced microangiopathic haemolytic anaemia in a patient with myelodysplastic syndrome

[摘要] A 72-year-old man with a background of myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS) and multiple endocrine neoplasia (type 1) presented withepistaxis.He was clinically well with normal observations. His full blood countshowed haemoglobin of 111 g/L, white cell count of 4.12 × 109/L andplatelets of 33×109/L. His coagulation profile was normal and his renalfunction was at baseline. His platelet count 1 month previously hadbeen 60 × 109/L.
