Visualization of sound wave from high-speed moving source

[摘要] Wayside noise along railway is still an environmental issue. It is critical to understand the characteristics of sound sources and sound propagation to reduce railway noise or improve the noise prediction models. For high-speed train, railway noise is a moving source which characteristic is differ as static sound source. On the other hand, current noise prediction model composed by a lined up monopole source do not take into account the characteristics of moving source (ex. the Doppler effect). Therefore, we are working to reveal the characteristics of moving sound sources for application to noise prediction models in the future.
