More than a cosmetic change
[摘要] Animal-free methods for testing chemical toxicity in cosmetics and drugs is tobe changed. European Union's Cosmetics Directive,is to phased out over ten years the use of animals in cosmetics testing. Tests carried out also define a risk of a chemical to pose a threat to the environment, such as toxicity to fish. Alternative methods for drug and cosmetic testing are to be challenged.
