Malaysia plans 'red book' in its attempts to go green
[摘要] Malaysia is one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world, yet in recent decades has been accused of clearing rainforests and draining peat swamps in order to grow palm trees for the production of palm oil. The international Convention on Biological Diversity has been pressurizing Malaysia to implement conservation strategies. Whilst the new government is said to be in favor, the resources might not yet be in place.
