Heightened security after flu scare sparks biosafety debate

[摘要] A pandemic strain of the Influenza virus, H2N2, was sent around the world as part of a routine quality-control test. This was a serious error and posed a huge threat to public health. This type of error has resulted in this strain being upgraded to from biosafety level 2 to biosafety level 3.
