Assessment of the physiological impact of endocrine disrupting chemicals on salmonid fish from selected sites in Scotland and Northern Ireland

[摘要] This report describes work carried out as part of the second stage of the joint BGS-CEH project ��Modelling the impact of climate change on groundwater in the UK��. The work described in the report involved testing and developing a simple approach to the reproduction of historical groundwater level fluctuations. The technique makes use of an unsaturated zone transfer function to represent delayed recharge. The model was used to replicate long-term groundwater level records from four boreholes in the unconfined Chalk in southern and eastern England. The calibrated model will be used with data derived from climate models to simulate groundwater level fluctuations under potential future climatic conditions.
