Scheme to track greenhouse gases takes to the air

[摘要] Passenger planes in Japan are being pressed into service to monitor greenhousegas levels in the atmosphere. Targeting flight paths from Tokyo to southeast and east Asia and to Europe, researchers say that the measurements collected by the project will provide much needed information about carbon dioxide emissions over Asia. This should make it easier for countries to conform to the Kyoto Protocol on climate change.
